What does Rubrikator export?
Rubrikator prepares supported Shopify data for the selected month and creates a downloadable DATEV import file for your accounting team.
Does Rubrikator send data directly to DATEV?
No. Rubrikator creates a downloadable import file. Transfer, import and posting are performed separately by the merchant or their accountant.
Which accounting period does the file cover?
Each export is prepared for the monthly accounting period selected in Rubrikator.
Does Rubrikator create invoices?
No. Rubrikator prepares accounting exports. Fakturator is the separate app for creating, delivering and retaining invoice documents.
Does Rubrikator replace bookkeeping or an accountant?
No. Rubrikator prepares structured export data. Account selection, tax assessment, review, import and posting remain with the merchant and their accountant.
Who should review the export?
The merchant and their accounting team should review the prepared data, the import, and the resulting postings. Rubrikator does not provide accounting or tax advice.
